This pamphlet/bulletin insert was originally designed as a bulletin
insert to promote opposition to euthanasia and assisted suicide in the
Church's. It is also ideal for any group or individual for
distributing to membership or handing out to your concerned supporters
or in schools. It defines euthanasia, assisted suicide and
hospice/palliative care. It explains why people would like to
legalize "Mercy Killing" and why we believe it is not necessary to
legalize "Mercy Killing." It also covers the major reasons why
we oppose euthanasia and assisted suicide and explains how we can make
a difference in supporting hospice/palliative care and in building a
culture that respects every human being.

Palliative Care

This pamphlet is oriented toward
general public use. Through a series of quotations from Hospice and
Palliative Care leaders, it defines palliative care and explains its history
and purpose. It covers the issues of pain control and explains why Canadian
governments need to give greater support to hospice/palliative care and how
good hospice and palliative care results in an elimination for the demand
for "Mercy Killing." This pamphlet was designed by the Life Ethics
Educational Association and is available through the Euthanasia Prevention
Coalition.

The Euthanasia
Prevention Coalition Pamphlet
This pamphlet is designed to inform people of Our Beliefs, Our Concerns, Our Purpose, Our Aims and
Our Membership. The fee to become a member of the Euthanasia
Prevention Coalition is $20 per year. The members receive all the
mailings and the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition Newsletter that is published every month. We also have an e-mail directory and encourage all members to
provide their e-mail address so we can send them information. This
pamphlet is complementary and is for groups, churches and individuals to
distribute.

Caring?
This book is written by Rita Marker, the Director of the International
Anti-Euthanasia Task Force. This is concise introduction to the
euthanasia debate which strips away the rhetoric surrounding the issues and
examines the realities as they effect each of us.
Euthanasia: Killing or Caring? is published by Life Cycle Books

This book is written by Peter Ryan, M.A., S.T.L. to explain how Senator Sharon
Carstairs Bill S-2 would legalize euthanasia. This is also an excellent
primer on the moral issues surrounding the Withholding and Withdrawal of
Medical Treatment.
